Then an appt was scheduled the next day! When the fan was installed Tim left the space just as he found it. He was respectful of our space. The fan they chose and installed is amazing! We needed a fan that could handle teens and their long showers! IYKYK After discussing ways in which to move the dining room light, we decided not to have it moved. My first time using Total Electric was in 2025 and it was to trace and figure out why I had an outdoor circuit continue to trip. It was nice to have someone come out and take care of a trivial situation such as it was. Forward to 2026 and I again needed them to move and relocate a duplex outlet. This time it was not Tim the owner but Carson his son. He did the work in a timely manner, was very neat, very professional and intelligent and definitely knows his craft. In a matter of a few months Total Electric ran new underground for our new sprinkling system,, installed a couple of GFI outside, wired the kitchen for new appliances. The whole crew including Will (in the office) were very professional, fast, and fair priced. Thanl you for the job(s) well done, I will be calling for more work to be done in the future.

How quickly can you come out for service?

Many appointments can be scheduled within 24–72 hours, but sometimes we’re booked out a bit longer. If you have an urgent electrical issue or a safety concern, we do our best to provide same-day service when available.

What should I do if my breaker keeps tripping?

A tripping breaker is usually a sign of an overloaded circuit or a wiring issue. Resetting it may provide temporary relief, but if it continues, it’s important to have an electrician inspect it. It may be time to add a circuit or address a safety issue behind the walls.

Why do my lights flicker or dim when an appliance turns on?

This often happens when a large appliance (like an AC or microwave, or even a vacuum) pulls more power than the circuit can safely deliver. It could be a loose connection, aging panel, or under-sized circuit. We can diagnose the cause and recommend the safest fix.
